Laura Nichelini is an artist in the Super Realism tradition. To create a photo effect Laura paints many thin coats of each color, creating depth, luster and translucency. This detailed technique requires precision and patience, a practice rarely seen in today’s art world. Laura specializes in subject matter from the natural world, including beautiful flower subjects from her travels around the world. Laura earned a BA in Art from Cal State University Sacramento in 1975. She has studied with Brynn Carroll, Gary Pruner, Ken Waterstreet and Steve Memering.
